American Airlines and MasterCard teamed up to bring exclusive cardholder perks and travel to create priceless moments and connect to a younger demographic. They turned to award-winning duo Director Jonny Zeller and Producer Tim Frazier to create a cinematic featurette with Grammy-winning recording artist Carrie Underwood.
Set at the iconic Orpheum Theater in Los Angeles, the campaign sought to capture Underwood reminiscing about her last performance at the venue during her days on American Idol. Select fans were treated to ticket upgrades to meet the singer and attend an intimate VIP experience.
The featurette was released on American Airlines flights, television spots across the country along with the partnership with the singer.
